The fragrance was created by a woman, Calice Becker. The bottle, designed by Hervé Van der Straeten, takes the form of a gold-rimmed amphora, reminiscent of the gentle curves of the En 8 line created by Christian Dior for his first collection in 1947. The simplicity of the design — which features no writing, not even the name of the perfume — gives it a timeless aspect. J’adore affirms the triumphant femininity that the couturier and founder revealed with his revolutionary New Look.
