“They are so important to the well-dressed woman,” Christian Dior wrote in his Little Dictionary of Fashion. The couturier and his successors collaborated with various artisans and designers to create virtuoso pieces imbued with refinement and modernity. From shoes, created with Roger Vivier, to jewellery, designed by Roger Scemama, Gripoix or Roger Jean- Pierre, hats designed by Stephen Jones – since 1996 –and bags, perfumes and make-up, the Dior universe is expressed with grace, celebrating the art of detail and the richness of savoir-faire. A tribute to the pioneering vision of Monsieur Dior, that began in 1947.
